Fish Counting solutions
Tuna Counting
Automatic counting of tuna during the critical first transfer and the cage-to-cage transfers. For Atlantic and Pacific bluefin tuna fish.
SALmorApp
Instant salmon mortality tracing and counting during veterinary operations at the bottom of the cage.
Tuna Counting
Our service automates tuna counting during first-transfer and cage-to-cage transfers for Atlantic and Pacific bluefin tuna.
1. Tuna Counting – First transfer
Our technology ensures precise and reliable counting of large numbers of tuna in transfers from any camera footage, even in the challenging conditions of the open sea.
“First transfer” refers to transferring live bluefin tuna from a purse seine net or a trap to a transport cage.
2. Tuna Counting - cage to cage transfers
At any point in the analyzed transfer video, you can view and verify each tuna count. Each detected tuna is marked and traced for easy verification.
Cage-to-cage transfers involve moving live bluefin tuna from a transport cage to a farming cage. This process can also include redistributing tuna to reduce the population density in a single cage as the fish grow.
Whether you are a crew member on a fishing vessel or farm, a Fishery inspector, or an ICCAT observer, the number of tunas you count from the video during the transfer from net to transport cage can now have each fish documented with your approval!
Accuracy and Efficiency
We use advanced image recognition and machine learning for fast, precise tuna counting, reducing manual labor and minimizing errors for more reliable data.
Near-Real-Time Monitoring
We offer near-real-time monitoring and reporting, allowing for instant verification of transferred tuna, maintaining accurate records, and enabling quick decisions.
Compliance
Our service ensures regulatory compliance by providing accurate, verifiable data, supporting international standards, and promoting sustainable fishing practices.
Reporting
Our reports include detailed PDFs with transfer information, fish counts, and videos marking each counted fish.
Human Verification
Our “Inspection for AI Fish Counting” app lets operators verify or correct automatic counts and create personalized reports.
When transferring large numbers of tuna fish in the open sea conditions, it is difficult to accurately and precisely count the total number of fish from the video.
